Broadband for all Irish Schools
From ENN yesterday, news that the Government and private industry have agreed on a way to provide broadband to all primary and secondary schools in Ireland. From our perspective, this is great news.
It is important to realise though that having a broadband feed available to a school is only part of the solution. Many schools don't have the internal infrastructure or the trained teachers to make use of this service yet.
Hopefully the bandwidth will be rolled out in tandem with the other building blocks to provide a complete solution.
